Anatoliy Kim is from Kazakhstan, where he studied transportation technology at Karaganda State Technical University before getting his MFA in filmmaking from New York Film Academy.
Susie Kim is from LA, and she studied molecular & cellular biology at Harvard University (along with film & animation) before getting her MS in computer science from the University of Chicago.

“Anatoliy and Susie were so amazing to work with - I can't even begin to describe how perfect of a power couple they are in capturing moments in our tea ceremony and wedding. We had booked them for an engagement photo shoot for our tea ceremony and they were such a JOY to work with - we were constantly laughing and in absolute awe with their eye for great photo spots. We also last minutely added Pasadena City Hall as a location for our first look and made the whole experience so magical, fun and natural - it felt like we were experienced models! and trust me - we aren't!! For our actual ceremony and reception, I was told by multiple guests afterwards that they never knew where Anatoliy and Susie were - like they had blended in with the crowd so well - but they were always there at an important moment and I could always hear a quick snap of a photo any time we were doing something even remotely cute. Their documentary-style approach felt elegant, cinematic, and authentic to us as a couple. I found Anatoliy & his team on Instagram as I was searching for the perfect videographer/photographer for my wedding. I loved their whole portfolio - the aesthetic, the mood, their cinematic videos were especially my favorite. I searched through so many profiles but I kept gravitating back and that’s when we decided to give them a call. Anatoliy and his wife Susie are a great couple to work with - Susie takes care of logistics and Anatoliy is the creative director. They’re both very professional and made everything so easy.
